Such an amazing paragliding experience 🪂✨ Incredible views and great vibes. Big thanks to pilot Nabil for the smooth and safe flight👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Who is behind you, what connects you to him, and why a two-place wing is not flown like a solo one.
On a tandem, the two harnesses hang from a rigid spreader bar, one in front of the other. The front seat — yours — has no controls and no duties: nothing crosses your field of view, no line, no arm, no instrument. The pilot takes the rear seat because that is where you can see the wing, feel the harness move and keep your hands free.
A tandem wing is around 40 m² where a solo is 25. You feel that size in the air: everything happens more slowly, air movement is damped, the wing settles back by itself. That is exactly why a first-time passenger is taken up on a larger wing, not a smaller one.

Two for you, two for the pilot, locked and checked out loud before every launch. It is the last thing done before you go.
It is not a climbing harness: it is a padded seat with a back and a spine protector. It is more comfortable than an aeroplane seat.
The reserve parachute on board is sized for the full tandem load. Repacked and inspected regularly, it never gets used.
The only two conditions that involve you. Everything else — wing, helmet, harness, reserve — is waiting on site.
Taking a passenger is not the natural next step after a solo licence: it is a separate rating, earned after a minimum of hours and flights, then kept current.
Our pilots have been flying Aguergour for over ten years. They know when the breeze picks up, where it turns, and when it is better to pack up.
He is the one who decides whether to fly, and that decision is not up for debate. A postponed flight is never bad news: it is the system working.

One price, no surprises when you arrive: the gear, the pilot, the briefing and the ride up to launch. All you bring is closed shoes and a little nerve.
No. The front seat is clear: the risers and brakes run from the pilot’s shoulders, behind you. You get the landscape with nothing between your eye and the lake, which is why photos taken from the passenger seat come out so clean.
Yes, because the wing is sized for that load. A tandem wing carrying two people is flying inside its normal range; it is a solo wing with an added passenger that would fall outside its own. The difference is not weight, it is certification.
You say so and the pilot cuts it short. He flies straight, stops turning and takes the most direct route to the landing field. Nothing you can do from the front seat affects the flight path — which is its own kind of reassurance.
Only if it is secured with a wrist strap or lanyard. Anything dropped in flight lands in a field or in the lake and is not recovered. The safest option is to let the pilot film with his pole — he knows the angles.
Nobody really tells you what happens between being clipped in and putting your feet back on the ground. Here it is.
Everything people ask us before booking, answered once and for all. Site, drive, timing, price.
Hundreds of first flights each season at Aguergour. The same worries before, and roughly the same sentences afterwards.
